Quick Overview
    The Covalence® HTLP-PP system is a 3-layer polypropylene-field-joint coating system for polypropylene coated pipes. Specifically, it is a wraparound, polypropylene based heat-shrinkable sleeve and is designed for corrosion prevention and sealing for polypropylene coated pipelines, operating at temperatures up to 120°C. HTLP-PP is especially suited for higher stress conditions caused both by elevated temperatures and by soils with severe contraction between wet-dry cycles. The HTLP-PP is normally used for girth weld protection of steel pipes coated with polypropylene. Product features include that it is available as a one-piece wraparound unit, it has high shear resistance, it has a high operating temperature rating, and that it keeps backing elasticity at elevated temperatures. Some benefits of the product include that it saves money by keeping application costs low, it provides high functional performance and safety, it has top performance in demanding conditions, it has enhanced resistance to cracking at elevated temperatures. Covalence® HTLP-PP products are available as a total system. The EQ Clamp Coil is an induction coil for specific pipe diameter and sleeve width.
