Multi-Flash SS has been designed with a flexible 2 mil sheet of Type 304 stainless steel laminated on one side to a polymer fabric. Multi-Flash™ SS offers best-in-class puncture and tear resistance. This product offers a life of the wall warranty and is available in type 304 (standard) and type 316 for more corrosive or coastal areas. It provides best-in-class puncture and tear resistance, with puncture resistance tested at over 2,500 psi (ASTM E154) and tensile strength at 100,000 (ASTM D412). The product is fire resistant, meeting ASTM E84 Class A material standards, and mold resistant, passing ASTM D3273. It is also heat resistant and will not degrade in high heat applications, such as SPF applications. The stainless steel face provides an excellent surface for air barriers and sealants to adhere to, and it exceeds all performance specifications for York's copper fabric flashing. The product can withstand unlimited UV exposure but must be concealed within 180 days to prevent damage. It is flexible and easy to cut and form by hand, made of 60% recycled material and is recyclable. It comes in 60' rolls to reduce the number of lap joints, and an HPD# is available upon request. Additionally, it is non-staining and can be used with limestone.
