Designed for : AP-5 was designed as high moly content Nonmelting grease for applications in an extremely dry environment. Ideally suited for brick kiln ovens, ceramic tile manufacturing, and high load metal to metal contact, AP-5 can be used in open or plain bearing applications and open gear or bull gear applications.
Recommended Application : For kiln cart and open bearing applications: pump the AP-5 into the bearings extruding out the old material. For packing sealed bearings, follow the recommended practice of the bearing manufacturer. For bull gears: apply the AP-5 to the surface of the gear and allow the grease to travel with the gear teeth.
Not recommended for : Oxygen service
