The Miller BackBiter is a single-leg tie-back lanyard with an integrated SofStop shock-absorber. Not all lanyards are rated for tie-back capabilities. The BackBiter features a snap hook with 5,000 pound minimum gate load capacity that can get the job done. Tie-back lanyards allow the worker to wrap the lanyard around a suitable anchorage point and clip back to the webbing lifeline. Anchorage points are not limited by the size of the gate opening.
