A special treated aluminum oxide grain contributes to the excellent grinding performance on metal. Q-Silver has a calcium stearate coating in grits P80-P500 and a zinc stearate coating in grits 600 and finer Q-Silver Micro features a silicon carbide grain in grits P600-1500.
