Flash-Vent™ Max is a self-adhering drainage plane membrane that provides a superior barrier to limit air and moisture transmission while providing a drainage material to evacuate water from your wall. This product features a butyl adhesive for superior adhesion to common building materials and a primerless self-adhering membrane, saving both labor and material costs. It includes a drainage fabric to exhaust water and a cross-laminated polymer interlayer for enhanced tear resistance. The product provides an air and watertight seal, is non-staining as it contains no asphalt, and passes AAMA 711-13 testing for self-adhered flashings. Additionally, it self-seals around nails, can be stored at temperatures between 40°F to 90°F, and has a shelf life of 2 years, making it a reliable and efficient choice for construction projects.
