    • The NIBCO® iron Y-strainer filters rust, pipe scale and dirt to protect valves, meters, regulators, etc. in steam, gases or liquid piping systems. The Y-strainer includes a wire mesh straining screen that is accessible without removing the strainer from the line.
    • The strainer is a "Y" type with a branch angled off the flow path. It features a bolted bonnet with blow-off plug for screen maintenance. The strainers are equipped with flanged end connections for easy installation. Please refer to NIBCO technical data sheets, chemical resistance guides and catalogs for engineering and installation information. Choose NIBCO® valves for the most specified, versatile and economical valve option in commercial, mechanical and industrial applications.
