Tuff-Scrim™ Poly TS6FR is a fire retardant, 6 mil extrusion laminated reinforced plastic sheeting. Tuff-Scrim is made of one layer of polyester string reinforcement scrim between two layers of fire retardant, low-density polyethylene (LDPE). The extrusion lamination process and high strength reinforcement scrim makes this fire retardant plastic sheeting significantly stronger and more tear resistant than standard 6 mil poly films. ). UV inhibitors are added to give Tuff-Scrim TS6FR an expected longevity in fully exposed outdoor conditions of at least 10 months. Tuff-Scrim™ Poly TS6FR fire retardant film passes the NFPA 701 Large Scale Flame retardant test and has a Class I, Class A flame spread rating per UBC-42 and ASTM E-84.
